Brenda Bantantu, Client Service Advisor
Brenda joined the Professional Services team as a Client Service Advisor just over four months ago. Before joining Aon, Brenda worked at both AXA and Allianz insurance as a Customer Service Assistant for personal lines but decided it was time for a fresh challenge, exploring commercial lines insurance and working with corporate clients.
Outside of work Brenda's main interests are fashion, beauty, eating out and travelling.
Bryan Ellis, Client Director
Bryan recently joined Professional Services as a Client Director. He is primarily focused on the placement of global professional indemnity insurance programmes on an annual and single project basis for contractors and consultants.
Bryan has over 30 years in the insurance market as a Broker, Underwriter and Insurance Manager, specialising in professional indemnity for the last 18 years, has a BA from Bristol University and has an MBA from Liverpool University.
Bryan enjoys reading historical and crime fiction, travel, all sports, he is a season ticket holder at Stamford Bridge.
Lara Smallshaw, Client Director
Lara joined Professional Services in May as a Client Director. Prior to working at Aon Lara spent almost 20 years at XL Catlin where her previous role was a Senior PI Underwriter. At XL Catlin she focussed on underwriting accountants, insurance brokers, surveyors and solicitors ranging from sole practitioners to large magic circle law firms.
Outside of work Lara’s interests include fostering guide dogs, fundraising for the local school, watching her children play sport and travelling.
Gary Thatcher, Client Manager
Gary transferred to the Professional Services team in February 2022 having been at Aon since May 2018. Gary joins as an Client Manager with 16 years’ experience in the insurance industry working with corporate clients across all industry sectors.
Gary brings a wide knowledge of risks our clients face and will lead client strategic service and insurance programme placement strategy in our Property & Casualty team.
Outside of work Gary enjoys cycling, running, tennis and is a qualified personal trainer.
