In Touch | Pensions Roadmap and New Bill
The Pension Schemes Bill has been laid before Parliament and the government has published a ‘roadmap’ for workplace pensions, expanding on the measures set out in the Bill. On Defined Contribution schemes, the measures include tackling schemes delivering poor returns for savers, combining smaller pension pots, and creating bigger and better pension funds. For Defined Benefit schemes, the measures include increased flexibility for release of surplus and reduced PPF levies.
